365+ Days of Living the Dale Carnegie Principles

Day 932.  Saturday, October 12, 2013
I sat down to write my blog and asked Roe what to write.  I couldn’t remember what we did today and I felt very tired.

Smiling Daffodil:  “what did we do today?”

Roe:  “what do you mean?  We did everything!”

Smiling Daffodil:  “oh yes, we did!”

And I reflected on the day.

We went to the arboretum. Then we had barbecue and listened to blues music performed by one of my Dale Carnegie classmates.  Then we took photos in urban settings— then I got sick and we had to make an emergency stop and the closest place… the galleria.

I bought makeup while we were at the galleria. Then we watched a movie.

Roe:  “We started out early— it’s no wonder you are tired.”

So the Dale Carnegie principle I am using is from How to Stop Worrying and Start Living:
Rest before you get tired.

The lesson in this story— embrace the joys of living but also remember the importance of getting rest.
