365+ Days of Living the Dale Carnegie Principles

Day 951.  Thursday, October 31, 2013
I was melting.  My foot got stepped on.  The dance steps were stressful. I was shutting down.

The moment the dance ended I put my street shoes on and quietly left.

I needed to escape without making a scene.

During that very long drive home I was alone with my thoughts.  This wasn’t good.

I became frustrated with everyone and everything.  I wished to escape.

I decided to pray. Then I decided to go home, eat dinner and go to bed. I have my suspicions that it’s tiredness that is part of the problem.

The Dale Carnegie principle used is from How to Stop Worrying and Start Living:
Rest before you get tired.

When you feel overwhelmed, upset with everyone around you, it’s a good idea to remove yourself and rest. Your physical and mental health require it.
